A Special Storytelling Visit from Laura Henry-Allain – Creator of JoJo & Gran Gran

We were delighted to welcome Laura Henry-Allain MBE, the talented creator of the much-loved JoJo & Gran Gran stories, for a very special storytelling session with our children at both our Ilford and Hackney sites.

The visit was a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience the magic of storytelling, listen to an engaging story, and explore their imagination. They were excited to enjoy a story connected to a much-loved children’s series and to meet the creative mind behind it.

We were also pleased to welcome our parents, who joined us for the session and enjoyed listening to the story alongside their children. It was lovely to see families coming together to share a love of books, stories and reading.

By welcoming authors and sharing books with families, we aim to create meaningful experiences that inspire children to become curious, confident and enthusiastic readers.

A heartfelt thank you to Laura Henry-Allain for visiting us and sharing this memorable storytelling experience with our children and families. We are also grateful to all the parents who joined us and helped make the occasion so special.

It was a wonderful celebration of stories, imagination, family and the joy of reading together!
