Our Team

First Day Nursery is committed to Safer Recruitment practices. The safety and wellbeing of our children and staff is our priority and we operate a robust code of conduct. All successful candidates will be subject to comprehensive references and an enhanced DBS among other pre-employment checks before commencing employment.

Most of our staff have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years. Staff receive CPD training throughout their time at First Day Nursery, some examples of the training offered include Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, Safer Food Hygiene, Prevent/Channel awareness and FGM . We work in partnership with Training providers to deliver apprenticeship programmes for our staff.
