Emotional/Social Support: (Key person system): Our staff build strong connections with each child, offering a sense of security and emotional comfort. We help children navigate their feelings, fostering a positive emotional foundation, this is supported through the key person system. We support children to make strong attachments with their key person as well as forge relationships with their peers in order to support their social well-being.
Healthy Nutrition: We believe proper nutrition is vital for the children’s growth and well-being. Our nutritious meals are carefully crafted to provide the energy and nutrients your child needs for a day filled with exploration and learning.
Physical Activity: We believe in the importance of physical activity for young minds and bodies. Our outdoor play areas and movement activities ensure your child engages in healthy physical development.
Child-led play-based Learning: Child-led play is at the heart of our curriculum. Through play, children develop essential cognitive, social, and problem-solving skills that set the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.
Personal hygiene: Is supported in children of all ages, explaining the reasons for hand washing, tooth brushing and other routines.

My daughter has been with the nursery since 2017 when she was just a baby and she is yet at the nursery in pre-school now. I have seen the nursery grow in so many years. Staff are so caring and the atmosphere there helps develop the child's curiosity. She is very independent and I am very happy with her overall development. Different festivals, events are celebrated and this helps my child become more involved in cultural tolerance and respect from such a young age. Safeguarding is another area and it's looked in with utmost care. First Day Nursery is definitely an amazing setting for our lovely children!
